I quit my dream job as a candy scientist to prove myself as a candy science entrepreneur.

There is no fluff in that statement. I am a candy scientist, for real…it is an actual thing. I can’t believe it either. I’m here to give you the uncoated bits and info on candy, candy recipes, and candy business.

In 2019, I quit my dream job as Head of R&D (where all the fun development stuff happens) at a giant candy company. If there was ever a Wilma Wonka, I could have been her. In 2020 I started my new super dream job as a business owner and candy consultant/manufacturer in Nebraska. I create candy for a living all across the globe. I’m a candy scientist. Hey, have you ever tried to read scientific writing!? It’s usually awful. I plan to not be awful, but rather to share the sometimes hilarious insights on starting both a consulting and manufacturing company. It is raw, it is true, it might be colorful. I believe in all things being honest and transparent, and occassionally exaggerated and topped with sprinkles.
